Most business owners are fairly satisfied with their security when they’ve had a firewall installed and antivirus software installed.
First, they probably don’t have a firewall that could really hold up to an attack, or a proactive network security program that ensures their firewall is actually working. I find that most SMBs select firewalls based [...]

I recently installed Cerberus Helpdesk on a Windows Server 2003 box. I had some issues that the Cerberus install docs didn’t help with. Couldn’t find one source for a how-to, so maybe this will help you.
Please note that this is not a COMPLETE how-to. You must use the Cerberus installation docs to get through. This [...]

The recent media coverage of Citibank debit card theft should really get retailers thinking. It appears that the theft came from a hack on OfficeMax.  It appears that the debit card PINs were stored somewhere along with the key to decrypt the PIN codes! This outlines two needs:

Ingram Micro’s online ordering site
SonicWALL’s Channel Partner site
Most Microsoft sites

The exclamake! company blog debuts today! The template for this WordPress blog is based on the excellent K2 design. Although I’ve used the K2 design for my personal blog, I wanted to do some more customization to match my existing company website. An excellent resource for K2 customization is Paul Stamatiou’s blog.
